Rory Putnam has been an amateur photographer since the age of 14, shooting now for over 30 years. He has won an honorable mention award in the Boy Scouts of America Photo Contest in 1989 and a brand photo contest Grand Prize for Lyman Life in 2018. His beautiful, timeless nautical and scenic images from throughout New England, the Canadian Maritime Provinces and some southern and midwest states capture the beauty of nature, the sea, and the man-made tools humans used to tackle and tame the elements. He shoots primarily on an Olympus E620 platform.
